We went to the FamilyMart to buy groceries.

Fortunately, I'm a part-time programmer. I was making enough money to pay my bills. Thanks to that, I was allowed to live in an apartment, but I never imagined that I would be living with Lydia.

I filled up my basket and paid the bill.

We continued straight to the apartment.
