“Ah, Aino-san. There are other people around…”
On holidays, downtown is bustling with people. Families stroll by, alongside middle and high school students like Toru and Aino.
More than when they were on the train, the stares from those around them feel piercing.
It’s not just Toru’s self-consciousness; groups of schoolgirls are actually blushing, murmuring things like, “Wow, so bold…”
Aino tilts her head quizzically.
“I don’t mind if others see us. After all, we’re engaged.”
“Even if we were married, doing this in public… th-that…”
Toru inadvertently looks at Aino’s chest.
Aino’s ample br*asts presses against Toru’s chest, molding and shifting under the pressure.
She teasingly moves her chest up and down with a mischievous expression. Though Aino’s face is red, she seems to be enjoying herself.
“Toru-kun ecchi.”
“I think if anyone’s ecchi here, it’s you, Aino-san.”
“Even so, it’s okay. Once we’re married, I plan to be even more affectionate with you, Toru-kun.”
The mention of marriage unsettles Toru.
“True, there’s a possibility we could become a couple since we’re engaged, but…”
“It might not just be a possibility.”
Aino’s lips, fresh and vibrant, speak those words.
In other words, there’s a real chance they might actually get married.
They initially got engaged for political reasons. That was the extent of Toru and Aino’s relationship at first.
But now, things have changed between them. At least from Aino’s side, she seems to be okay with accepting that.
But what about Toru?
His inability to answer immediately might be his weakness. Of course, Aino is an important fiancée. He wants to be by her side as much as she desires.
But marriage is something far off to consider for high schoolers.
Aino chuckles.
“If we get married, won’t you look forward to all sorts of things I’ll do to you?”
“Well… yeah, I guess I would.”
“See?”
Being teased like this might affect Toru’s pride as a man… or so he thinks.
He wraps his arms around Aino’s back and holds her tightly. Aino lets out a surprised “Eep!”
Aino’s delicate body fits snugly in Toru’s arms. She gazes up at him with an excited expression.
“Aino-san, if we get married, you might experience this every day. Would that be okay?”
“Hehe, I’d be thrilled. Being hugged by Toru-kun is wonderful. But… I’d like more than just hugs.”
Aino looks at Toru’s lips with anticipation. They’ve taken baths together and slept in the same bed, but they’ve never kissed.
And Toru still lacks the courage to kiss Aino.
Because kissing her would mean accepting her not just as a fiancée in name but as a genuine lover.
“Someday, I’ll fulfill Aino-san’s expectations.”
“So, does that mean I can keep expecting?”
“Yes, exactly.”
Toru nodded clearly. There is no doubt that Aino is the most important to Tooru, not Chika or Asuka.
He promised to protect her.
“First, I want to fulfill Aino-san’s initial expectation. So… let’s go grab lunch.”
“Okay!”
